To create reports, a thermal printer uses paper that is 80 millimeters wide. Due to built in protection, the machine remains safe for the patient if a clinician uses a defibrillator. With a battery that users can recharge, the device functions for 12 hours without a power outlet. Because the design is small and light, people can carry it easily. And because the internal memory stores data, the machine tracks heart activity over long periods.
