Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), also popularly known as autoclaved cellular concrete (ACC) is a lightweight, foam concrete building material. AAC products include blocks, wall panels, floor, roof panels and many more.The key ingredient to manufacture AAC blocks is fly ash or pond ash. Fly ash is mixed with water to form fly ash slurry. Slurry thus formed is mixed with other ingredients like lime powder, cement, gypsum and aluminium powder in quantities consistent with the recipe.It helps to maintain accuracy, uniformity and enhances the strength of the building.
