Description

Ardrox® 1631 is a non-chromate containing aqueous caustic alkali blend. This product is intended for use as an aid to removing heat scale from titanium alloys. When used in the prescribed manner it will completely remove thin light gold coloured and thicker dark blue coatings from various titanium alloys. After rinsing the process is usually followed by a brightening / etching treatment in nitric acid
