This is Automatic Side Cut Anchor Chain making machine suitable to make Anchor / Cable Chain from wire. The machine has variable speed controller and forced electronic lubrication system, chain breaking sensor.The anchor chain is made up of multiple link segments that resemble closed loops. Each loop is connected through to its neighbouring loops, creating a chain of any given length. The major advantage with this type of anchor rode is that it is resistant to the wear and tear that is extremely common with anchor cables.The Detachable Link, also known as the Enter Shackle, is the link from where we count. This shackle is usually painted red, and on either side of it, you will find links that are painted white.Assuming that the ship has anchored at slack water, there may be only 2 shackles forming the centenary. A shackle is a unit of length and equal to 15 fathoms or 90 feet and is the standard length of a chain .Modern anchor designs that are extremely stable and able to easily grip on to surfaces are generally derived from three standard designs that have been used from the 10th century onwards.
