This presentation describes fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) systems used to reinforce and strengthen concrete, masonry, steel and timber structures including aramid (AFRP), basalt (BFRP), carbon (CFRP), and glass (GFRP) fibers.The FRP systems are divided into carbon (CFRP), glass (GFRP), aramid (AFRP), and basalt (BFRP) systems [Triantafyllou 2004].
