Levocetirizine 2.5Mg + Montelukast 4Mg Syrup (Carelukast-lc), 60 ml

Carelukast-LC Syrup pairs two complementary anti-allergic actions in a pediatric-friendly liquid formulation. Levocetirizine works by blocking the chemicals responsible for allergic reactions, helping relieve itching, redness, and swelling associated with allergic skin conditions, and easing sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes linked to allergic rhinitis. Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, works alongside it by reducing inflammation in the airways, further easing nasal congestion and related breathing discomfort.

The syrup should be given to children exactly as prescribed by the doctor, with or without food, ideally at the same time each day for consistent effect. If the child vomits within 30 minutes of a dose, the same dose should be repeated. Improvement is generally noticed after a few doses, and the full prescribed course should be completed to achieve maximum benefit and prevent symptom flare-ups.
