AHU Spring Isolator – Description An AHU spring isolator is a vibration isolation device installed between the Air Handling Unit base frame and the supporting floor or structure to reduce the transmission of vibration and noise generated by the fan and motor assembly. The isolator consists of a high-quality steel spring housed in a powder-coated MS or GI casing, designed to support the equipment load while providing effective vibration isolation. The spring isolator may be provided with a neoprene pad, height adjustment bolt, and seismic restraint (if required).
