Drum Mix Plant

The drum is the main interface between water and vapor. In a coal-fired power plant, the boiler feedwater passes through the economizer, enters the drum, where the vapor is separated from the feedwater and transferred to the superheater.The asphalt drum mix plant is a kind of heating and mixing equipment for block asphalt mixtures, which is mainly used for the construction of rural roads, low-grade highways and so on. Its drying drum has functions of drying and mixing.The asphalt drum mix plant is also called a continuous mixing plant. Unlike a batch mixing plant that produces hot mixes in batches, continuous mixing plants mix and produce material without stops.It is widely used for road construction. There is a fixed recipe to make hot mix asphalt. It is a combination of aggregates (of different sizes), bitumen and filler material. Aggregates can be single size or a blend of multiple sizes of aggregates.
