Mobile Asphalt Hot Mix Plant

Asphalt drum mix, commonly known as the hot mix plant, is the greatest mixer of concrete, asphalt, coarse and fine aggregate and filler material to create a homogeneous mix at the necessary temperature. Hot mix plants are used mostly for road construction.Unlike a batch mixing plant that produces hot mixes in batches, continuous mixing plants mix and produce material without stops.Asphalt drum mix plants have parts like cold feeder bins, bitumen tanks, weighing conveyors, drying trays, and drying and mixing drums with a burner. The plants also include features like a filler hopper, charging conveyor, wet dust scrubber, a semi-manual control panel and silos for hot storage.The drum is the main interface between water and vapor. In a coal-fired power plant, the boiler feedwater passes through the economizer, enters the drum, where the vapor is separated from the feedwater and transferred to the superheater.
