Bambooworking is the activity or skill of making items from bamboo, and includes architecture, carpentry, furniture and cabinetry, carving, joinery, and weaving.Bamboo can be utilized as a building material for scaffolding, bridges, houses and buildings. Bamboo, like wood, is a natural composite material with a high strength-to-weight ratio useful for structures.The structure is supported by three main elements: vertical posts, horizontal beams, and cross-bracings to triangulate the structure for stability. In bamboo architecture round bamboo poles are used for the structural elements. The roof structure is then supported with trusses.
