The Bar Threading Machine, Automatic rolls threads on steel bars that measure 16 - 40 mm across - it needs a 415 V, 50 Hz supply and a 4 kW motor turns the dies at 40 - 62 RPM. An 80 mm pitch cuts a single, even thread that meets rebar splice standards. Gears and shafts drive the heads without belts or hydraulics - the cycle repeats within 0.1 mm in site conditions. Beds plus carriages are welded from 20 mm plate and then ground - the only routine service is a daily grease shot on the slide. Contractors and precast plants use the unit to put parallel threads on cut bars before couplers are spun on.
