Industrial Blast Freezer

Blast freezers are sometimes referred to as shock freezers. The idea of this type of freezer storage is to very rapidly bring down the temperature of (usually) foodstuffs or fresh produce, freezing them very quickly.They are widely used in the frozen food industry for things like iced cream, pre-prepared meals and vegetables or fish. Many commercial kitchens also utilise freezer storage units.
