PACORR- Box Compression Strength Tester

The Box Compression Strength Tester is a precise machine that checks how much weight a corrugated box or package can bear before it collapses. It pushes down with a force of up to 1000 kilograms and shows the result within one percent of the true value. The platen moves at a steady 12.5 millimetres per minute, give or take 2.5 millimetres, while four sensors share the load so the force stays level across the box. A 1.5-horsepower Crompton or Bharat Bijlee induction motor supplies the power and keeps the motion smooth even after long runs. A digital screen displays the force numbers as they rise plus stores them for later review. The frame is built from heavy steel parts that withstand factory knocks and dust. Packers use the tester to prove that each batch of cartons will survive pallet stacking and truck vibration without crushing.
