Box Strapping Machine

The Box Strapping Machine is a tool for the application of straps to boxes during packing and dispatch. As a specific version, the ETSPACK JN740 model is constructed from mild steel and it functions with a 220V power supply plus a 0.25 HP motor. By using this motor, the machine performs consistently for production lines that handle a moderate volume of items. With a work surface that is 750 mm above the floor and dimensions of 900 x 580 x 750 mm, it occupies a small amount of space. Due to the total weight of 90 kg, the machine is steady when it is in use. On this unit an operator can use straps that are between 6 mm and 15 mm wide. To secure the items, the machine exerts a force of 450 N. And it is possible to apply 24 straps every minute, which is a rate of about 1.5 seconds for each cycle. If an operator needs to adjust the size or the tension of the strap, the controls are basic and the preparation is fast. In this way the process is not interrupted for a long time but also there are fewer errors or items that require correction. Because it is for automatic box strapping, the machine increases the speed of packing and it makes the tension uniform. For those reasons, the machine decreases the amount of physical work that people must do for tasks that involve repeated bundling.
