SS Chain Type Bucket Elevator

A bucket elevator, also called a grain leg, is a mechanism for hauling flowable bulk materials (most often grain or fertilizer) vertically.Bucket conveyors consist of endless chains or belts to which are attached buckets to convey bulk material in horizontal, inclined, and vertical paths. The buckets remain in carrying position until they are tipped to discharge the material. Various discharging mechanisms are available.Abstract— Bucket elevators are used for transport of bulk, dry, wet and even liquid materials. It is designed for various parameters like height, speed and constructive based on the type of material to be transported. The main aim of the project is to increase the load carrying capacity of the elevator bucket.
