PACORR- Corrugated Paper Bursting Strength Tester

The Corrugated Paper Bursting Strength Tester measures how much pressure corrugated paper and packaging materials withstand before they burst. The tester works across 40 Kg/cm² and shows changes as small as 0.1 Kg/cm². An upper clamp grips the sample through a 35.5 mm opening plus a lower clamp holds it through a 38.1 mm opening. Indian production and modern materials give the unit a long service life. A piston pumps oil against the sheet until the sheet fails - a digital screen reports the peak pressure. Packaging plants use the result to check that each batch of board meets the required strength. The design follows international burst test methods for paper and corrugated products.
