Description
Flanged Butterfly Valves are high-performance quarter-turn valves designed for efficient flow isolation and regulation in industrial piping systems. These valves feature flanged end connections that provide strong, leak-proof installation suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter pipeline applications. The valve consists of a circular disc mounted on a rotating shaft, which controls the flow by turning 90 degrees from fully open to fully closed position. When fully open, the disc offers minimal resistance to flow, resulting in low pressure drop and energy-efficient operation. Flanged Butterfly Valves are widely used in water treatment plants, chemical industries, HVAC systems, power plants, oil & gas, and process industries due to their robust construction, reliability, and ease of maintenance. They are available in a wide range of body materials such as cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, and stainless steel to suit different industrial requirements. Seat materials like EPDM, NBR, PTFE, and Viton ensure compatibility with various media including water, air, oil, gases, and chemicals. These valves are designed in compliance with international standards such as PN10, PN16, and Class 150 pressure ratings, ensuring safe and reliable operation under varying working conditions. They can be operated manually using a gear mechanism or automated using pneumatic or electric actuators for remote and process control applications. Flanged Butterfly Valves are preferred in applications where strong pipeline support, easy installation, and high sealing performance are required, making them ideal for both industrial and utility services.
