The Motor Run Capacitor is a component which has the ability or "capacity" to store energy in the form of an electrical charge producing a potential difference (Static Voltage) across its plates, much like a small rechargeable battery. The run capacitor is used to improve the running efficiency of a compressor's motor. The run capacitor is placed in series with the start winding of the compressor and will remain in the circuit as the motor operates. All other specifications are in accordance with #250 AMP. Each terminal shall have 2,3 or 4 pins depending upon configuration. Metal top- Metal top assembly consisting of cover, Washer, Packing Material, Connecting rivets and terminals. Pressure Sensitive Interrupter / Internal Protection Bridge- Made of UL approved. Bridge is provided with holes for inserting tips from terminals. Bridge is secured between element and metal top cover.
