Carbide Tipped Tools

Carbide-tipped tools are cutting instruments that combine a tough steel body with a small, extremely hard carbide tip brazed or mechanically fastened to the cutting edge. These tools are preferred for their ability to maintain a sharp edge up to 10–20 times longer than standard tool steel, especially when machining abrasive materials or working at high speeds.
