Description
A sluice valve, also known as a gate valve, is a type of valve used to regulate the flow of liquids or gases through a pipeline. Designed as per the latest editions of Indian Standard (IS) specifications. Certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for non-rising spindle sluice valves (marked with ISI). Suitable for isolation duty (full open or full close). Can handle clear water with turbidity up to 5000 ppm and temperatures up to 45°C. Valves can be designed for specialty applications with suitable materials of construction for temperatures up to 180°C under limited pressure conditions. Salient constructional features include a rigid and sturdy design with minimal head loss, perfect interchangeability of components, and smooth operation due to excellent machining and press fitting of body and wedge rings.
