BENEFITS PRODUCT USES FAIRFIX TA STD is a high quality adhesion for permanent fixing of ceramic tiles. Used for fixing of insulating & acoustic boards. Used in wet areas like kitchens & bathrooms. DESCRIPTION STANDARD APPLICATION < Prepacked factory controlled ensures consistent quality. < Excellent adhesion - hence can be used tile on tile. < Excellent waterproofing characteristics. < Easy to use. < Good slip resistance. Prepacked Cementitious tile adhesive which ensures excellent bond on concrete, plastered and even on ceramic and mosaic tile surfaces. FAIRFIX TA STD ensures perfect watertightness. FAIRFIX TA STD is a adhesive for the permanent fixing of ceramic tiles both in damp and submerged conditions. FAIRFIX TA STD can also be used for fixing tile on tile. Conforming to BS 5980 Class AA Type 1 and suitability for contact with potable water as per BS 6920, part 1. Surface Preparation : All surfaces must be sound and thoroughly cleaned before FAIRFIX TA STD is applied. All traces of greases or oil must be removed with FM Degreaser. All loose particles of mortar and points must be physically removed. Surfaces : FAIRFIX TA STD can be applied directly on concrete, cement screeds, cement, lime mortars and existing tiles. Mixing : FAIRFIX TA STD should be mixed with water in the ratio of 3:1 by volume. Water can be reduced or increased slightly to increase required consistency. A slow speed drill fitted with a suitable mixing paddle is recommended. Hand mixing may be allowed if drill/paddle is not available.
