Chain Mortising Machine

A mortiser or morticer is a specialized woodworking machine used to cut square or rectangular holes in a piece of lumber (timber), such as a mortise in a mortise and tenon joint.When you pull down on the mortiser's feed lever, the bit and chisel plunge simultaneously into your workpiece. Like all drill bits, the auger bit bores a hole and ejects the chips.
