CICO FLORTOP-RTU is a ready-to-use dry shake floor hardener used in concrete flooring to create a tough, abrasion-resistant surface for industrial and high-traffic applications. 🏗️ What It Is A factory-processed, pre-graded dry shake material made of non-oxidising, non-metallic mineral aggregates, free from oil and grease. Typically supplied in 25 kg bags. Applied directly onto freshly placed concrete. 🚧 Key Features Increases wear and abrasion resistance of concrete surfaces. Higher impact resistance than plain concrete. Produces a denser surface resistant to oil, grease, hydraulic fluids, and many industrial chemicals. Can be used in dry and continuously wet areas. Non-rusting and easy to maintain. 📍 Typical Uses Best suited for: Industrial floors (factories, warehouses) Workshops, hangars Car parks and loading bays Areas subjected to heavy traffic and machinery These surfaces benefit from the product's hard-wearing characteristics. 🧱 How It's Applied Place and level concrete normally. Broadcast the dry shake material over the surface once bleed water has evaporated. Trowel in manually or with power float equipment. Cure thoroughly as for normal concrete. 📌 Coverage & Performance (Typical) Coverage varies by traffic level (approx. 3–9 kg per m²). Hardness around Mohs 8 and compressive strength ~50–60 N/mm².
