Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) is defined as “The cleaning of complete items of plant or pipeline circuits without dismantling or opening of the equipment and with little or no manual involvement on the part of the operator.The CIP process is divided into three types, the first is the 3-step cleaning (water washing-alkaline washing -final shower), and the second is the 5-step cleaning (water washing-alkaline washing-water washing-acid washing-final shower) ), the third is the 7-step cleaning.
