CNC Profile Cutting Machine

A CNC profile cutter is a metal plate cutting machine that utilises plasma and or oxy-fuel cutting technology to cut through metal.This is a cutting process in which an ionized gas at temperatures of more than 20,000 °C is used to melt and get rid of the material from the cut. During this process, an electric arc is placed between an electrode (cathode) and the piece being worked on (anode).CNC stands for Computerized Numerical Control. It is a computerized manufacturing process in which pre-programmed software and code controls the movement of production equipment.A CNC plasma machine uses a plasma cutter to cut thin to thick metals along a multi-axis grid. The CNC method provides an advantage over handheld plasma cutting tools due to the cut being programmed and controlled by a computer instead of human motion.
