Aluminum Cold Log Shear

Aluminium Cold Log Shear is used for shearing and cutting aluminium logs or aluminium billets to size before extrusion. It is used in aluminium extrusion industry.Shear force is a force acting in a direction that's parallel to (over the top of) a surface or cross section of a body, like the pressure of air flow over an airplane wing. The word shear in the term is a reference to the fact that such a force can cut, or shear, through the surface or object under strain.Shear slitting as well as crush cutting can be performed either by a tangential or wrapped web path. Although it is more common and preferable to find tangential shear slitting, it is important to mention both web paths do exist.
