Topping up compressor: This type of compressor is used to cater to any leakage in a system. If any leakage is observed in the system, the topping up air compressor covers up the leakage by taking the lead.The main capacity control methods for reciprocating compressors are variable-speed drives, suction valve unloaders, step-less methods, clearance pockets and bypass recycling.Relief valves are typically located near the top of the air compressor tank, and are connected to the tank via a pipe or hose. When the pressure in the tank reaches a certain level, usually around 150 PSI, the relief valve will open and release air until the pressure drops to a safe level.
