Concertina Coil

Concertina wire or Dannert wire is a type of barbed wire or razor wire that is formed in large coils which can be expanded like a concertina. In conjunction with plain barbed wire (and/or razor wire/tape) and steel pickets, it is most often used to form military-style wire obstacles.Main function of the Concertina Wire is to form the concertina perimeter areas, high security, deterrence to prevent the intrusion of outsiders to a restricted area. The concertina is used in various sectors of industrial, military and governmental type among many other places.A concertina is a free-reed musical instrument, like the various accordions and the harmonica. It consists of expanding and contracting bellows, with buttons (or keys) usually on both ends, unlike accordion buttons, which are on the front. The concertina was developed independently in both England and Germany.
