Mobile Concrete Batching Plant

A concrete plant, also known as a batch plant or batching plant or a concrete batching plant, is equipment that combines various ingredients to form concrete. Some of these inputs include water, air, admixtures, sand, aggregate (rocks, gravel, etc.), fly ash, silica fume, slag, and cement. A typical RMC plant consists of silos and bins for the storage of cement and aggregates respectively, weigh batchers for proportioning different ingredients of concrete, high efficiency mixer for thorough mixing of ingredients, and a computerized system controlling the entire production process. There are two types of concrete batch plants. There are ready-mix plants and central-mix plants. Ready-mix plants combine all of the materials except for water at the concrete plant. This mixture is put into a concrete transportation truck and taken to the project site where water is added .Batching can be done by two methods, volume batching and weight batching. Batching should be done properly to get quality concrete mix.
