Consolidation Apparatus

Consolidation tests are conducted to obtain soil data which are essentially required for preducting the rate and amount of settlement of structures . It comprises of :-(a) loading frame cap. 20 kg. /cm with loading joke and lever arm (ratio 1:10) complete with counter balancing arrangement(b) fixed ring consolidation cell 60 mm dia x 20 mm thick complete with two porous stone , pressure pad and cutting ring. (c) water reservior with tubing and connection. (d) dial gauge 0. 002 mm x 12 mm travel.
