Cooling Tower Sprinkler

The cooling tower sprinkler (figure 1) is a contruction 1 of layers of mesh cylindrical elements that are placed parallel to each other and connected at the points of contact. In addition, this design contains in its volume a small block 2 consisting of similar mesh elements.Air enters the tower beneath the fill and is drawn up vertically into the tower. Above the fill, hot water is introduced through low pressure spray nozzles to divide the hot water over the surface of the fill in fine droplets. The cooling air draws heat from the water as it progresses to the bottom of the tower.Cooling tower sprinkler head is a device mounted on top of the stand pipe together with the sprinkler pipes on the cooling tower. Through circulating water in the tower, the sprinkler, mainly through its head, is rotated by its pressure.
