Description
WoodAge Interiors: Crafting India’s Most Durable, Designer Bathroom Vanities.
Bathroom vanities face the most hostile environment of any home furniture, constant humidity, direct water splashes, temperature fluctuations, and often poor ventilation. Material selection is the difference between a lasting investment and furniture that disintegrates. WoodAge Interiors build vanities that survive Indian conditions long-term.
Why Choose Our Luxury BWP/PU Vanities?
The Zero-Compromise Core (BWP IS:710): We construct our vanities exclusively from BWP Plywood certified to IS:710. This is marine-grade plywood that can withstand repeated boiling and cooling cycles without delaminating. We will never use MDF, HDHMR, or particle board for bathroom vanities. MDF disintegrates in moisture; HDHMR resists moisture but is not designed for direct water contact. BWP is the only panel with true structural integrity for a bathroom. The Seamless PU Armor (Continuous Coating): Our standard and primary finish is multi-coat PU (Polyurethane) paint. While laminates are sheets applied with visible edge joints (where moisture inevitably penetrates and lifts the edge banding over years of exposure), our PU finish is sprayed and cured as a single, continuous, seamless membrane over the entire cabinet surface, front and back. This eliminates all edge-joint vulnerabilities. Designer CNC Fluting (As Shown): Our luxury range features precision CNC work. The generated image showcases a linear fluted design, creating texture and a high-end, contemporary aesthetic. This routing is also sealed in the continuous PU coating for 100% waterproofing. Configurations for Heavy Stone Tops: We offer both wall-mounted floating vanities (the current luxury standard in Gurgaon interiors) and floor-standing units. We recommend the floor-standing configuration for the heavier, luxurious stone tops (like the veined marble and white quartz shown) where the wall structure cannot support a heavy floating mount. Supply Model: The vanity is supplied without a countertop. The stone top with basin cut-out must be installed by the client’s tile contractor directly on top of the cabinet to ensure a crucial, customized waterproof seal against the wall tiles.
Q: Why is PU paint preferred over laminate for bathroom vanities? A: Laminate is applied as a sheet and has seams at every edge, even with edge banding. Over years of high-humidity and water exposure, these seams can allow moisture to seep into the plywood substrate. PU paint is sprayed as a liquid and cures into a single continuous membrane with no seams, providing vastly superior long-term moisture protection for the BWP plywood underneath.
Q: Can a wall-mounted (floating) vanity be installed securely on bathroom wall tiles? A: Yes. Heavy-duty anchor bolts are drilled through the tiles and into the brick or concrete wall behind. This is standard installation practice for floating units. The exception is lightweight partition walls or AAC block walls, which cannot support the weight of a loaded vanity. For heavy stone tops, we recommend floor-standing configurations.
