HPSM' Cross Shaft Presses are single point gap frame presses with fabricated steel frame, cast slide and bolster. It is designed for either automatic or hand-fed general stamping applications such as blanking, piercing, forming, drawing, bending, etc.Press bending is an operation that consists in deforming or forming the material according to a fold, an angle defined by a forming tool (punch and die) and with the help of a machine that can be a manual press, a mechanical press, a pneumatic press or a hydropneumatic press.Bending is a manufacturing process where sheet metals are plastically deformed into complex parts by the application of a bending moment. The plate is pressed to the designed angle and bending radius by flanging a sheet metal part between a punch and die, selected for the individual part geometry.Power presses that shear, punch, form, or assemble metal or other material by means of tools or dies attached to slides. Power presses can be mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic. In mechanical power presses, tools and dies are mounted on a slide or ram, and move away from the stationary bed containing the lower die.
