Cut to Length Manual

Also known as a CTL or a Blanking Line, our machine will uncoil the larger material or master coil, straighten or flatten it, and then cut it to the required length as it moves through the line, and ultimately stack it into a bundle.The cut-to-length process can be considered straightforward. Processing lines take lengths of uncoiled sections of flat rolled steel and cuts them into various lengths. Then, intense pressure is applied to compress and flatten the material into a sheet or plate, depending on its thickness.
