Cyclone

Cyclone dust collectors are a type of inertial separator that make use of centrifugal, gravitational, and-or inertial forces that separate dust from the air stream. The dust and particle-laden air or gas enters the cylindrical chamber tangentially at one or more points and leaves through a central opening. As air is pulled through the chamber of the dust collector toward the vacuum conveying pump at high speed, it spins in a cyclonic motion. The centrifugal force created by this fast, circular air flow drives the heavier plastic particles, fines, and dust outward toward the wall of the cyclone chamber.
