Polyoxymethylene is a category of thermoplastics and includes many different formulations of the material, all of which vary slightly.Polyacetals are known for their good balance of stiffness and toughness, in combination with low friction and high dimensional stability. Examples of applications are in conveyor parts, gears, and fittings.
