A diaphragm pump is a positive displacement pump which operates with a flexible diaphragm, and integrated check valves. The diaphragm is moved inward & outward toward the pump body which works in conjunction with the check valves and draws in and expels the fluid out the pump casing.Diaphragm Pumps are perfect for handling a range of Waste Water Treatment applications, including the transfer of flocculent fluids, sludges, and water, as well as dosing acidic and alkali chemicals for pH control and treating water.A diaphragm pump is a specific type of displacement pump that uses two flexible membranes. The membranes are connected by a central shaft, and create a separation between the compressed air and the fluid. A centrally located air valve alternately pushes one of the membranes to the side.
