Description

The KLB-A measures the displacement between the measurement point inside the bedrock and the mounting surface of the KLB-A transducer. It consists of the KLB-A main body including displacement sensors, the hydraulic anchor (KLF-11/12) to be fixed at the measurement point in the bedrock, and the rod (KLF-21) which connects between the anchor and the KLB-A main body. The KLB-A is equipped with 8 displacement sensors at the maximum, thus 8 hydraulic anchors can be installed in one bore hole for measurement (bore hole diameter should be 66mm or larger for 1 to 6 anchors and 86mm or larger for 7 or 8 anchors). Displacement between the KLB-A transducer and the anchor is detected as a relative displacement via the rod. The anchors are secured to the bedrock at specified measurement points by hydraulic pressure applied from a pump positioned on the ground.
