Elgi Equipments screw air compressor is a rotary positive-displacement compressor engineered for continuous industrial operation. It compresses air using two precisely machined interlocking helical rotors (male and female screws) housed within a close-tolerance casing. As the rotors rotate: Atmospheric air enters the inlet port. Air becomes trapped in the cavities between the rotors. The trapped volume progressively reduces along the rotor length.
