Double Girder Overhead EOT Crane

Double Girder EOT Crane have 2 Main Girders across the span. 2. It consist of Electric Hoist travelling on lower flange of Main Girder and not required rail for cross traveling. It consist of a crab mechanism travels above both girders run over cross travel rails with platform to maintain all parts of crab.On a double girder crane, there are two girder beams that make up the bridge and they're supported by an end truck on each side. In most instances, the trolley and hoist run on a rail installed on top of the bridge girders.A double girder is the better choice if you're moving heavy loads or need a high hook height, but you will pay more upfront. If you have relatively lighter loads or have space limitations, a single girder might meet your needs at a lower initial cost.
