Drinking Water Fountain

A drinking fountain is a device that ejects a fountainlike stream of water that can be drunk from without a cup. Drinking fountains are often for public use—they provide access to drinking water in places like government buildings, schools, and parks.These operate by a water pump that brings water up from a basin. It then circulates it through another opening through a hose, then the water trickles down into the basin. This process repeats itself over and over, recirculating the same water.A traditional fountain is an arrangement where water issues from a source (Latin fons), fills a basin of some kind, and is drained away. Fountains may be wall fountains or free-standing. In fountains sheets of water may flow over varied surfaces of stone, concrete or metal.
