Ductility Testing Machine

The Ductility Testing Machine is used to determine the ductility of bituminous materials in a briquette mould by measuring the breaking elongation at a constant speed of 50 mm/min. It is designed for testing 3 specimens simultaneously. The Internal tank is made of stainless steel.Ductility testing, which is also often known as bend testing, works by applying pressure to a specimen and recording the point at which the material begins to experience plastic deformation or shatters. In a basic test, the specimen may be placed between two anvils, with force applied by machine.Ductility Test Apparatus conducts ductility tests of bituminous materials to measure the elongation of a binder specimen before failure. The ends of a molded specimen are pulled apart in a liquid-filled trough at a specified speed and temperature.
