Earth Compactor

A soil compactor is a machine or mechanism used to reduce the size of material such as waste material or biomass through compaction. For the improvement of soil properties, e.g., density, water content or gradation, compaction is necessary in the construction of embankment, road, sub-grades, earth dams, a machine that presses rubbish together. Trash compactors minimize waste by reducing large quantities of rubbish to smaller amounts.Self-propelled rollers, or soil compactors, have a single drum at the front and a driven steering axle with treaded tyres at the rear. The front drum may also be driven. It may be of smooth steel or rubber-coated for asphalt, or pad foot for earth compaction.Compactor.
