Electric Drum Roaster

The single wall drum roaster is your typical drum roaster. It contains a burner that heats the drum from underneath as it rotates, and the drum in turn heats the coffee beans through conduction. This lends itself to inconsistent roasts batch to batch because of the energy retained in the drum .Coffee roasting machines Heats the drum before heating with drum machines, then passes to coffee by heat contact and the coffee. In roasting with air, the heated air constantly mixes and heats the coffee. With this method, the coffee beans are roasted by taking the heat directly from the air. A hot-air coffee roaster forces hot air through a screen underneath the coffee beans so that heat is transferred throughout. The roasted beans are then cooled in a process known as quenching. The cooled beans are packaged immediately in bags which allow for degassing. They are then shipped to stores to be sold.
