Motor End Carriage

Often when specifying Overhead Cranes customers ask "What's an End Carriage?" An End Carriage in basic terms is one of the set of carriages that support the main crane gantry, the End carriages feature Drive units that transport the crane structure up and down the workshop length.These compact, modular rail-mounted travel units can be connected direct to crane girders and load-bearing structures. Our end carriages consist of a torsionally rigid box section and complete travel units with geared motors and wheels from the Demag modular system, which can be configured for all load capacity ranges.
