Description

Simply put, there are two main types of epoxy resin for wood that you will consider: TableTop Epoxy Resin, and Deep Pour Resin. TableTop Epoxy resin is meant for 1/8in pours, or sealing a table or project. Deep Pour resin is meant for a 2in deep pour to fill in larger gaps or create a live edge river table. Epoxy resin is inexpensive: it can cost over $10 a gallon. So, a wood epoxy table can be costly because of the amount of epoxy and labor to make it. Polyurethane is an alternative that makes a great finish for your wood table that's not epoxy.
