Back stroke Indicator

A backstroke indicator, also known as a false start indicator, is a device used in swimming pools to alert backstroke swimmers of their proximity to the pool wall. It's typically a line of flags suspended across the pool, 5 meters from each end, and positioned 1.8 to 2.5 meters above the water surface according to IndiaMART. These flags, often red, help swimmers judge their distance and prepare for turns without needing to look up. The backstroke turn indicators are flagged ropes suspended across the pool at a 5m distance before each end of the pool to notify the competitors that they are approaching at the wall end and should be ready for their backstroke turn.
