Stone Pizza Oven

A masonry oven, colloquially known as a brick oven or stone oven, is an oven consisting of a baking chamber made of fireproof brick, concrete, stone, clay (clay oven), or cob (cob oven).A pizza stone is a flat slab of stone or ceramic that sits inside on your oven rack, where it soaks up and, more importantly, holds onto heat. Because unbaked pizza dough rests directly on it, the hot stone transmits its heat to the bottom of the crust, just like the floor of a wood-fired oven.
