Flooring Radiant Panel Testing as per 9239-1 and EN 45545-2

The DNG Flooring Radiant Panel Tester is a precision-engineered instrument designed to evaluate the flame spread and smoke development of flooring materials under controlled radiant heat, in full compliance with ISO 9239-1. This test method is essential for determining the Critical Heat Flux (CHF)—the minimum energy (in kW/m²) required to sustain flame propagation across a horizontally mounted flooring specimen. A high-temperature radiant panel, inclined at 30°, creates a heat flux gradient over the sample surface. A propane pilot flame is used to ignite the specimen at the high-flux end. As the flame progresses, the system automatically tracks flame spread distance and calculates the CHF at the point where the flame ceases. Integrated smoke measurement via light attenuation provides additional data on smoke production. The DNG system features robust construction, accurate gas control, user-friendly software, and real-time data acquisition.
