Flexible Shaft Grinding machine is widely used in Fabrication Workshops, Foundries and heavy industries. It is very suitable for heavy and or lengthy jobs where it is not possible to lift the job or get the same close to the grinding machine. Flexible couplings can handle slightly misaligned shafts. Rigid couplings are torsionally stiff and can't tolerate any misalignment. This applies to both shafts that are physically misaligned at rest and parts that may cause misalignment during operation due to thermal changes.
